Colour
In our opinion the colour of the diamond is the second most important characteristic.
The perfect colour is the complete absence of colour with the exception of fancy colour diamonds such as pink, blue, purple, yellow, green, brown and black.
It was G.I.A who defined and developed the very precise scale of colour grading, which is universally used today by the diamond trade.
The colour grade begins at D, which represents the total absence of colour, and descends to the letter Z, which has a hint of yellow or brown.

Colours J to Z are not sold by Matthew David.
